After a tornado that struck at 4:30 p.m., six residents were killed, including two people under the age of five.
Eight more are injured, three are in critical condition and one is in danger. According to the press briefing this evening, about 25 to 30 houses were affected.
Carver Road from the Panama Park Trail to Highway 69 is closed until crews are able to clear the area.
Damage assessment and first responders in the area are ongoing, and updates will be posted as they arrive.
