Actor and comedian Tiffany Haddish was arrested early Friday in Georgia on suspicion of drunk driving, police said.
According to the Peachtree City Police Department, around 2:30 a.m., officers answered a 911 call about a driver sleeping at the wheel on Highway 74.
On the way to the location, an officer spotted a vehicle matching the description and pulled the vehicle into the yard of a residence, stopping traffic, police said. The officer then contacted the driver, who was identified as Hadish.
Peachtree City Police said a subsequent investigation arrested Haddish on suspicion of drunken driving. The 42-year-old star was then taken to the Fayette County Jail. Law enforcement believes Haddish smoked marijuana, TMZ reports.
According to records obtained by TMZ, Haddish was released from prison hours after posting $1,666 to bond out.
