Grammys: Silk Sonic Wins for Song of the Year as a Co-Writer dedicates his appreciation to the late mother

The group won for "Leave the Door Open," accepting the trophy from Oscar and Grammy winner Questlove.

Silk Sonic has won the Song of the Year award at the 2022 Grammy Awards. Oscar and Grammy winner Questlove presented the honours.

In his acceptance speech, band member Bruno Mars thanked the album's collaborators, while co-writer Durnst Emil dedicated the award to his recently deceased mother.
