'The Jennifer Hudson Show' will debut in the fall of 2022

A new voice is coming to the daytime talk show scene.

Warner Bros. (which is owned by CNN's parent company) announced Wednesday that Academy Award and Grammy-winning star Jennifer Hudson will host a talk show that will air on Fox television stations.

"I've experienced a lot in my life; I've seen the highest highs, the lowest lows, and everything in between, but as my mother always told me, 'Once you think you've seen it all, Just keep living," Hudson said in a statement.

“People from all over the world have been a part of my journey from the very beginning – twenty years ago – and I look forward to joining their journey as we sit down and talk about the things that inspire and inspire us all. Huh." Hudson added. "I've always loved people and I can't wait to connect on a deeper level and let the audience see different sides of who I am in return. And I couldn't be more thrilled to be doing it with this incredible team." Maybe... we're going to have a lot of fun and shake things up a bit!"

Hudson first rose to fame as a contestant on "American Idol" before releasing several albums and starred as Effie White in the 2006 film "Dreamgirls", a big screen adaptation of the hit Tony-winning Broadway musical. There was a conversion.

Hudson won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for the role.

She faced a major tragedy after her mother, brother and young nephew were murdered by her sister's husband in 2008.

Hudson most recently starred as Aretha Franklin in the movie "Respect."

The one-hour talk show will debut in the fall.
