WWE Madison Square Garden results: Roman Reigns attacks Brock Lesnar

Tonight's Madison Square Garden house show ended with Reigns standing tall over Lesnar.

WWE returns tonight at Madison Square Garden for a house show event featuring wrestlers from both SmackDown and Raw. The main event, which was originally scheduled for Brock Lesnar versus Bobby Lashley, was instead a mystery challenge as Lashley was "under concussion protocol" in the story.

  • Alpha Academy (Chad Gable and Otis) defeated RK-Bro (Randy Orton and Riddle) to retain the Raw Tag Team Titles. Otis pinned Riddle with a Vader bomb. After the match, Orton and Riddle founded Alpha Academy with RKO.
  • Finn Balor defeated Damien Priest by disqualification to retain the WWE United States Championship. After surviving a coup for DQ, the priest blows up Balor.
  • The Usos defeated Big E and Kofi Kingston to win the SmackDown Tag Team Titles.
  • Becky Lynch defeated Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley to retain the Raw Women's Championship. Belair hits Ripley with a KOD, but Lynch knocks Belair out of the ring and covers Ripley for the win.
  • Roman Reigns defeated Seth Rollins. Reigns submits to Rollins with a guillotine choke.
  • The Miz hosted Miz TV with special guest Kevin Owens. During their conversation, Owens brought up the incident with Logan Paul at last year's WrestleMania. Miz asks for a reminder and Owens responds to Miz with a Stunner. As Owens made his way backwards, he turned to Sami Zayn. The two hugged, but Zain seemed reluctant to do so.
  • Drew McIntyre defeated Sami Zayn.
  • Ronda Rousey & Naomi defeated Charlotte Flair & Sonny Deville. Rousey submits Flair with an armbar.
  • Brock Lesnar defeated Austin Theory to retain the WWE Championship.
  • After Lesnar defended the title, Roman Reigns and The Usos attacked Lesnar. In the beginning, Lesnar got the better of them, but Bloodline was eventually able to take him out. The show ended with Reigns standing on top of Lesnar at the top of the steel steps with both world titles.

In recent weeks, WWE has been pushing for Tonight's House Show, with both Paul Heyman and Reigns stating that Lesnar would not even make it to WrestleMania. Lesnar will face Reigns in the main event of the second night of WrestleMania on April 3, where both the WWE and Universal Title will line up in a title unification match.
