Rohit Sharma hits out at journalists over 'right question' - watch

Appreciating the returning crowd at the stadium, Rohit Sharma took a dig at the journalists for not asking questions related to the match.

Rohit Sharma was once again at his bizarre best during a press conference ahead of the first Test between India and Sri Lanka in Mohali. The India captain, who has already schooled journalists for questions about Virat Kohli's form, on Thursday dressed up another gem when he picked a journalist to ask the 'right question' but Certainly in his usual funny behavior.

The incident took place when a journalist commented on Rohit for not talking much about the match and asked how does it feel with 50 per cent of the audience in the stadium.

In response, Rohit took a dig at the reporters for not asking questions related to the match while appreciating the returning crowd at the stadium.

In the video, which has now gone viral on social media, Rohit can be heard saying: "Puchuge taba bolunga na? No one is asking. No one is asking the right question. This is all correct question. These questions that you are in now, whether the crowd is coming or not, how is the pitch, what combination are you going to play... is asking) the correct question related to the match, the question you asked is related. No one is asking what are the thoughts on the return of the crowd, how is the pitch, what will be the team composition. No one is asking this question. ,

The Mohali Test will be Rohit's first Test as the captain of the Indian team. And rest assured, they will have massive shoes to fill after the stupendous success this team has enjoyed under Kohli.

Since taking over as India's full-time captain, Rohit is yet to lose a match - with clean sweeps over New Zealand, West Indies and Sri Lanka. The match will also mark Virat Kohli's 100th Test and the star batsman from India will hope to turn the occasion into a memorable innings.
