Robert Kraft has six Super Bowl rings, and recently gave his girlfriend, Dr. Dana Blumberg, an engagement ring that's as big as one of the championship baubles, we hear.
Saturday's inaugural AmfAR Gala Palm Beach event honored fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger, who shared the stage from Kraft and Blumberg's engagement.
We hear it's been a couple of weeks since the pair's engagement, but Hilfiger unexpectedly announced the news at the gala.
"Tommy Hilfiger was honored and Robert and Dana were both president of Tommy's program," a source said. "[Hilfiger] said that his 'good friend' Bob Kraft got engaged to Dr. Dana Blumberg at the show on stage, speaking to the entire audience."
Another source told Page Six that attendees saw Blumberg wearing "a giant rock" to the gala.
The amazed source added: "It looked like it was a 10-carat or more... it was as big as some of Bob's Super Bowl rings."
The gala at the home of top art collectors Amy and John Phelan featured performances by Christina Aguilera and Parson James, as well as an auction by Simon de Puri.
Guests such as supermodel Karolina Kurkova were in attendance, while the Palm Beach event chairs included Phelans, Dee Hilfiger, Omed and Caroline Malik, Nancy C. Rogers and Stephen and Christine Schwarzman.
Kraft and Blumberg have been dating since 2019, when they were 78 and 45 years old respectively. They were first seen holding hands at the French Open in June of 2019, and were reunited a month later at the Women's World Cup football final in Paris.
The Patriots owner and Blumberg later attended the annual Apollo at Hampton Bash at Ronald Perelman's estate in the summer, which included guests such as Jerry Seinfeld, Jon Bon Jovi, Jamie Foxx and Spike Lee.
Kraft took Blumberg - a top eye doctor - to Elton John's glittering Oscars bash in early 2020, where the pair happily posed for photos.
A friend told Page Six at the time of the pairing: "They're serious, as kids would say, 'They're getting stable!' They have been dating for almost a year now and they are happy."
He is one of the nation's leading ophthalmologists based at New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia. She has participated in several Pats games as well as the Super Bowl with Kraft.
There's no word on wedding plans yet, but it sure does have one heck of a shindig.
Kraft celebrated her 80th birthday last year with a surprise birthday party in the Hamptons, where Lionel Richie and David Spade performed, and guests included Adele and Rich Paul, Bon Jovi, Kenny Chesney, Meek Mill, Billie Jean King, Gail King and many others. ,
The bash was at the Bridgehampton mansion of 76ers co-owner and fanatics mogul Michael Rubin. Kraft even left her $43 million Hampton home on her birthday to get a new Bentley in her driveway from friends including Meek Mill, Jay-Z and Rubin.
Kraft was once married to his college sweetheart, Myra Kraft, renowned philanthropist and charity volunteer, who passed away in 2011.
