According to sources Robert Kraft proposed to his girlfriend Dr. Dana Blumberg with an engagement ring. On March 6, popular fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger announced Kraft and Blumberg's engagement from the stage of the inaugural AmfAR Gala Palm Beach event.
According to sources, it's been a few weeks since Kraft and Blumberg got engaged and Hilfiger surprised everyone by announcing it at the event. According to a reliable source, "Tommy Hilfiger was respected, and both Robert and Dana were program presidents for Tommy. [Hilfiger] stated that his 'good friend Bob Kraft engaged Dr. Dana Blumberg' at the show on stage, Speaking to the entire audience." According to a Page Six source, attendees at the ceremony saw Blumberg playing with a large rock. According to the source, it appeared to be 10 carats or more and was as big as some of Bonn's Super Bowl rings.
Kraft and Blumberg started dating in 2019, when they were 78 years old and 45 years old respectively. They first held hands at the French Open in June 2019, and then a month later at the Women's World Cup football final in Paris. The two then went to Ronald Perelman's mansion for the annual Apollo in the Hamptons festival, where they were joined by celebrities like Jerry Seinfeld, Jamie Foxx, Spike Lee, and more.
In 2020, the 80-year-old was joined by Blumberg at Elton John's Oscar event in Los Angeles, where he gleefully posed for photographs. At the time, a friend of his told Page Six, "They're serious, as kids would say, 'They're going to freeze!' They've been dating for about a year now, and they're happy."
