Maren Morris stuns on the red carpet at the 2022 Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas in edgy.
The Grammy Award-winning musician stepped out with husband Ryan Hurd wearing a vintage Dior 2000 dress designed by John Galliano. Made from tan leather, her dress featured an asymmetric front with a deep neckline and a lace-up corset bodice. Adding edge to her look was a similar asymmetric skirt that included pockets, which were attached to the back of Morris' dress by a string of gold buttons. Similar buttons also added to the top and straps of her dress, revealing a cut-and-sew. Large gold hoop earrings completed Morris's look.
As for shoes, Morris tied in a pair of Tan ankle-wrap sandals. The lace-up style features an array of thin straps in asymmetric, toe, thong and slingback placement. The pair culminated in straps wrapping around Morris's ankles, similarly to trending silhouettes that provide a sultry stretch and ankle support. Her shoes, which created a sleek monochrome look, were complete with a height of 3-4 inches with square toe soles and slightly flared heels.
The 2022 Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards, dedicated to honoring established and emerging country music talent, will take place at 7 p.m. at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. ET. The event will be hosted by Dolly Parton with musicians Jimmy Allen and Gabby Barrett as co-hosts. Before the show, Kristin Cavallari, Elena Smith, Priscilla Block and Zuri Hall will serve as red carpet hosts. The show featured performances by a number of musicians including Thomas Rhett, the Brothers Osborne, Carrie Underwood, Chris Stapleton, Eric Church, Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, Kelly Clarkson, Lady A, Luke Bryan and Maren Morris. Presenters of the evening will include Luke Grimes, Kelsey Asbill, Alan Richson, James Patterson, Mickey Guyton and Tom Pelfrey. The commercial-free show is also making history as the first major awards show to be livestreamed exclusively through Amazon's Prime Video.
