Some people are not happy that Steve Austin is doing anything that could be a match 19 years after his last match at WrestleMania 19. Others want it to be a full blown match rather than a "confrontation". Some people don't like the set-up, or that Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins line up the WrestleMania 38 segment with Stone Cold for their Raw match this week.
I get it, and we're still a long way from seeing what Austin and Owens have in store for us on Saturday, April 2 at AT&T Stadium. But so far, at least when these two are actually targeting each other, I've found it pretty funny so far.
3:16 Days ago Stone Cold got some shocks. Keo's entry to remix Austin's iconic promo from King of the Ring 1996. It borders on rudeness, but it's smart. It also seems like that's exactly the kind of thing that would happen under the skin of Austin's character.
[The first thing I want to do is] get that piece of crap out of my ring. Don't take him out of my ring, get him out of WWE for good [because I've proven son] Without a doubt, you ain't got what it takes anymore! You sit there riding your little ATV and say your catchphrase and it got you nowhere. [Talk about your psalms, talk about John 3:16] Well Owens says at 3:16 WrestleMania, I'll stomp your sorry ass.
[I am giving notice] to every WWE Superstar. I don't care what they are, they're all on the list, and that's KO's list, and when I'm kicking Steve Austin's ass at WrestleMania, I start running through them all. I'm fixing.
