Idaho school bond and levy elections March 8: See what's up for a vote...

Several school districts around southwest, central and south-central Idaho have levies or bonds up for vote on March 8, including the districts of Canyon, Elmore and Washington counties. The results of these elections will guide local school districts in budgeting for the upcoming school year; The budget is usually discussed and set in the spring, and takes effect on July 1 of each year.

Most of the measures on the March 8 ballot are two-year supplementary fees for the maintenance and operation of public schools in a given district.
