Dictionary.com responds to tweet from La. Congressman

LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) Congressman Clay Higgins of Louisiana (R-Louisiana) drew criticism on Sunday after his tweet, where he attacked young people, went viral.

"You millennial leftists who haven't lived a day under nuclear threat, may now reflect your waking sky. You made enough non-binary fuss to save the world from intercontinental ballistic tweets," tweeted the Congressman.

Dictionary.com's Twitter account, which often trolls elected officials' words, sentences and tweets, was among the first to be involved.

“We are not entirely sure what this tweet means, and we are literally dictionary,” Twitter users then left to troll the Congressman.

Higgins, who has made headlines in the past for suggesting that he would shoot anyone posing a threat to Louisiana and comparing alleged election fraud to a WWII Japanese-American intern, was then tweeted by many. who called it "inconsistent".

"Not a single millennial - myself included - understands what that means." Twitter user Hugo Lovell wrote.

"The United States went through some serious cultural and political upheaval during the Cold War and we overtook the USSR. Maybe you should appreciate the fact that we don't cry about the people who expressed those views. Rather strong as a broad-minded democracy,” wrote Twitter user Pe.

Sunday's tweet comes days after Higgins called the President of the United States "weak".

"When the President of the United States is weak, the whole world suffers," he said.
