Paula Patton is getting roasted in more ways than one this week, after a video of herself roasting some chicken left fans stunned.
The 46-year-old actress shared the clip on Instagram last month, where she was showing fans how she cooks chicken.
In the tutorial, the "Four Kids and It" star creates some cooking flair when she adds seasonings to her grease and doesn't wash her chicken long before cooking.
However, thanks to TikTok, the video went viral weeks later, with many users throwing her under fire and blasting her baking techniques on Twitter.
The account that first shared the video tweeted on April 4, "Paula Patton ruined my day."
The "Precious" actress triggered more memories and reactions to the semi-cooking show, with another person saying: "Paula please take a chicken frying class because it's ridiculous."

As someone noted, "Paula Patton needs to start with something simple like toasting bagels."
Others came to the biracial actress for her recipe, stating that her frying process was a sign of which parent she took, as Patton was raised by a white mother and an African-American father. .
“Dear Black People: Spend more time with your mixed kids and teach them how to properly cook Kale and Southern food. Paula Patton's chicken is a disgrace to our cuisine,” said one user.
Another person shouted, "On behalf of biracial people everywhere, I want to say that Paula Patton doesn't represent our cooking at all. Don't throw this shit on us...somebody taught her wrong."

Someone argued that Patton's cooking had nothing to do with her mixed-race ethnicity. "The issue is not about Paula Patton's mom being white. She's not Southern. Southern white women know how to roast chicken," he wrote.
Others joked, "Paula Patton's chicken is like eating a dry hat and then drinking milk."
Some quipped that the way the "Warcraft" star cooked was the reason she and her ex-husband Robin Thicke divorced in 2014. The couple married in 2005 and their separation was finalized in 2015.
"Robin Thicke eating Paula Patton's fried chicken every morning when they were getting married," tweeted one alongside a meme of a man who was hugging and convulsing.
Another said, "I see why Robin Thicke cheated on Paula Patton. Mama was feeding her raw chicken."
