Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant says his ankle is okay after scare against Milwaukee Bucks
On a scary play at the end of Thursday night's thriller between the Brooklyn Nets and the Milwaukee Bucks, Nets star Kevin Durant hurt his ankle in a three-point attempt. Being undercut in the play, after receiving three free-throws, Durant stayed on the ground briefly before proceeding and hitting his free-throw. After the game, he gave an update on his ankle.
Asked if he will miss any time, Durant said, "No, I am fine. It hurts a little, but you know how it goes." On the play itself, Durant said, "When I'm trying to play basketball, two players in a row go down on me." Durant's frustration is guaranteed, as the NBA has often been inconsistent with his enforcement of "landing space" fouls.

The Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks never fail to deliver an incredible game, going back to their 7-game series in last year's Eastern Conference semi-finals. This game was no exception, with Kevin Durant and Giannis Antetokounmpo fighting for a victory that would have been too big for any team. Like last year, Giannis and the Bucks came out on top.
The entire field held its breath once Durant hit the ground, and regardless of the outcome of the game, his health was the biggest concern for the Nets after the final buzzer. From what Durant said after the game, it looks like he won't be wasting any time.
