Coachella 2022: Phoebe Bridgers connects with audience with moody vibes, stunning visuals

The second Phoebe Bridgers began playing the opening notes of "Motion Sickness" Friday night, the crowd cheered.

As she sang the opening lines, "I hate you for what you did, and I miss you like a little kid," fans began to sing and dance, and as the energy of the crowd slowly subsided. Slowly flowing with Bridgers' slow and moody songs, it seemed that the crowd was attached to Bridgers throughout his set.

"Picture this. The year is 2011, I'm in a Two Door cinema crop top, my hair is bright pink and I'm in for this celebration — don't really picture it. I grew up in L.A. so I can't even That can even tell you what a dream this is for me,” said 27-year-old Pasadena between songs.

The Bridgers have since ditched their Two Door Cinema crop top phase (to our knowledge), wearing a variation of her now-signature Skeleton outfit on Friday – a black dress with a skeleton outline, while the Bandmembers wore their Wore the signature skeleton jumpsuit.

The book was flipped to a new page with each song - for "Garden Song", the image was of a garden scene with a bridge, while "Moon Song" featured a video of the moon slowly rising over Griffith Observatory. displayed.

After opening with "Motion Sickness," the song that brought her into the limelight in 2017, Bridgers transitioned from her second album "Punisher," "Garden Song" and "Kyoto," to two favorites.

After premiering it at a show in Phoenix on Wednesday, she performed the song "Sidelines" live for the second time. The full song was released on Friday, and a brief preview of the song was used in the trailer for Hulu's "Conversations with Friends," the TV adaptation of the Sally Rooney novel, which was released earlier this week.

The Bridgers released their second album, "The Punisher", in June 2020 during the pandemic. She began the album's final tour, beginning the "Reunion Tour" in September and October.

Additional dates for the "Reunion Tour" were recently announced, and after Coachella, the Bridgers travel to Las Vegas for a show on May 13, before touring throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe throughout the summer. Well, let's end this tour. Picnic celebration in Los Angeles on August 28.
