Chris Hemsworth might secretly reveal the release date of the Thor 4 trailer, according to Marvel fans

Eagle-eyed MCU lovers reckon the first official teaser may land in a matter of days

Considering that Thor: Love and Thunder (opens in new tab) is set to be released in just a few months, surprisingly little is known about the fourth installment in the series of Asgardian heroes. We haven't even seen a trailer yet - but some Marvel fans have come up with a theory that suggests one could be released very soon.

Earlier this week, Chris Hemsworth took to Instagram to share a photo of himself, Valkyrie actor Tessa Thompson, and Thor 4 director Taika Waititi with the caption: "To Thor Love and Thunder with these two wonderful humans Some long lead press. One day wacky and full of glee. Get ready guys, this movie will be awesome!!"

In the snap, Waititi can be seen pointing each of his index fingers to the sky, while Hemsworth holds two signs of horns, and Thompson draws a few symbols of peace with his hands.

At first glance, it might seem that the trio was posing innocently, but hawk-eyed viewers believe that this may indicate that the teaser will release on April 11, 2022. Fans took to social media to comment whether Waititi's gesture could represent number 11, Hemsworth's one four and Thompson's two could be two. a reach? probably. But, again, the folks at Marvel like to play their games.

For now, we know that Thor: Love and Thunder takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame, and that Natalie Portman will reprise the role of Jane Foster. At some point in the film, the astrophysicist is ready to embrace Lady Thor's mantle, and the new merchandise gives us our best look at her superpowered hero.

The Brazil-based popcorn bucket depicts Thor and Lady Thor, sometimes known as the Mighty Thor or the Goddess of Thunder, fighting side by side. As the production of Stormbreakers formerly created in Avengers: Infinity War, Foster can be seen waving around Mjolnir. exciting stuff!

Thor: Love and Thunder will also feature Jaime Alexander, who is back as Lady Siff, and Chris Pratt (as Peter Quill/Star-Lord), Dave Bautista (as Drax), and Karen Gillan. (in the form of a nebula). Christian Bale will also appear as the new MCU character Gore the God Butcher.

It is currently scheduled to release on July 8. While we sit and wait patiently for the first trailer, check out our take on the MCU timeline.
