Police were called after Sen. Ted Cruz reportedly had an argument with airline employees at a Montana airport.
A man who posted a video of the aftermath of the incident on Reddit claimed that Ted Cruz, wearing a mask, was "reckless" to airline staff at the airport after he allegedly went missing on his flight.
The poster said law enforcement was called when Texas senators would not calm down. The video only shows Cruz interacting with a police officer.
The man who posted the video later added context, saying he did not think "he was verbally abusing airline employees" but reportedly "made little threats to the employment of those involved."
Scott Humphrey, deputy director of Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport, told the Daily Mail that a law enforcement officer was there to help defuse the situation.
"One of our Public Safety Officers (PSOs) was in the ticket lobby and was asked to assist a frustrated passenger at the United ticket counter (which is not uncommon)," Humphrey said.
