Stephen Curry surprises viral crying Warriors fan with tickets, pregame meeting

The crying girl, who went viral after Warriors star Steph Curry went missing in Denver on Tuesday, was given a ticket by the Warriors and the opportunity to meet with the All-Star guard ahead of the team's game with the Nuggets on Thursday.

The Warriors opted to leave Curry - along with Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins - out of the lineup for the rest when they traveled to Denver on Tuesday, much to the dismay of a young fan.

Heartbroken and tears streaming down her face, the girl held a sign that read "Go Warriors! MVP Steph Curry", while the Warriors gear up from head to toe.

The video of her crying when she came to know that she was not seeing her favorite player went viral. Even the broadcast team of Warriors pleaded with the franchise to make things right for him.

Once the Warriors learned about the situation, they actually held tickets to the team's next game with — coincidentally — the Nuggets at Ball Arena on Thursday night.

The young girl named PJ wore the same outfit and brought the same sign along to meet Curry courtside. It was only after he finished the pre-game warm-up that he came to them.

And surprise! There were tears, but this time there are tears of joy.

The All-Star Game MVP asked the girl: "Did you bring that card? Can I sign it for you?"

After the Warriors' win, Curry was asked about his conversations with PJ, who was delighted that his team came along with the W.

"This is what the NBA is about," he said. "Our fans are everything. I told her I appreciate the support and love. I know she was upset on Monday and we had to make it up for her."
