Look: Joe Lunardi Releases His Final NCAA Tournament Prediction

We're just an hour away from the release of the 68-team arena for the 2022 NCAA Tournament, but there's still uncertainty about who's joining. That's where ESPN's Joe Lunardi comes in.

Brachtologists released their final predictions for the 16 top four seeds and 16 bubble teams on Twitter. Some ordering still needs tweaking depending on the final results, but for the most part, it appears to be final.

The No. 1 seeds in Lunardi's prediction would be Gonzaga, Ariana, Kansas and Baylor. For the No. 2 seed, Purdue, Duke, Auburn and Kentucky are expected to be approved.

Villanova, Tennessee, Texas Tech and Wisconsin would be the No. 3 seeds. UCLA, Illinois, Arkansas and Houston would be the No. 4 seeds.

The last four teams to receive a bye will be Davidson, Iowa State, Miami and Indiana. The last four teams to attend will be Rutgers, Notre Dame, Michigan and Texas A&M.

Wyoming, SMU, Xavier and Oklahoma just won't have the cut.

More than two dozen teams automatically qualify for the NCAA tournament by winning their respective conference tournaments. But dozens of other teams are keeping their fingers crossed that their names are called.

If the madness of conference tournaments is a sign of things to come, "March Madness" will live up to its billing.
