Kane Brown has nothing but praise for his wife, Caitlin, after welcoming their second child in late December.
The happy couple walked the red carpet at the 2022 ACM Awards at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada on Monday, and the famous country crooner talked with ET's Cassie DiLaura about welcoming daughter, Cody Zayn.
Brown said in surprise, "That's awesome, man. My wife is a superwoman, so she put her to sleep all night." "It's been a terrible transition."
Brown and his wife are also parents to 2-year-old daughter Kingsley, and the singer said he is looking to the future, when Cody starts pointing and talking.
Kane shared, "Whenever she's around Kingsley's age and she can start talking and communicating, I'll get really excited." "But so far it's been great."
According to Brown, Kingsley has actually embraced a sibling, and the singer said that her little girl is "overdoing it" when it comes to showing affection.
"You know, she kisses him all the time, but she doesn't know that she's putting her weight on him," she said with a laugh. "But yeah, she's killing it [as a big sister]."
The couple, who tied the knot in 2018, announced their arrival on Instagram on December 31, sharing an adorable photo that showed them in the hospital as Caitlin lovingly cradles their new bundle of joy.
"New year, new family member," read his caption. "Welcome to the family Cody Jane. The secrets are finally out."
The pair kept their pregnancy journey a secret this time around and Brown said it was no easy feat.
"I was really excited to tell people and really excited for people to find out," he shared. "Even though it was tough, you know. We were in public so I was like... Covering up when people were around, it was tough."
