Jamie Lee Curtis has been done for "sucking her stomach" and is now releasing "every muscle I had that I used to hide reality."
The OG Scream Queen revealed that in her upcoming film, "Everything Everywhere All At Once," she refused to hide anything about her appearance.
"In the world, there's an industry—a billion-dollar, trillion-dollar industry—about hiding things. Concealers. Body shapers. Fillers. Procedures. Clothes. Hair accessories. Hair products. It's who we are. Everything to hide reality." She wrote in a lengthy Instagram post on Thursday, alongside a photo of herself in the film, in which she plays an IRS auditor named Deirdre Beaubeirdra.
Curtis, 63, explained that she told everyone involved in the production that "nothing will be hidden."
"I've been sucking my tummy since the age of 11, when you start getting boys and body conscious, and the jeans are super tight," she wrote.
“I specifically decided to try and release every muscle I had in order to hide the reality. That was my target. I have never felt more free, creatively and physically. ,
The "Halloween" star was immediately praised by fellow actors and fans.
Niecy Nash posted a series praising the hands emoji, while one fan wrote, "We're such a silly culture, it's brave - though it shouldn't be. Brava!"
Another fan said, "I love and respect you more than ever!!!!"
The actress — whose parents were "Some Like It Hot" star Tony Curtis and "Psycho" star Janet Leigh — consistently came into the limelight for showing off a toned figure.
One of their most famous scenes was the striptease seen in the 1994 film "True Lies," which Curtis previously described as "the most badass I ever felt at work."
"It was a powerful experience that no one else can take credit for — it was just me, the music, three cameras and almost 100 friends," she told InStyle earlier this year.
Curtis, who has been married to Christopher Guest since 1984, ended her post Thursday by telling fans that she can't wait for them to see the film and the "talent" of her co-stars, including Michelle Yeoh, K. Hua Quan and Stephanie Hsu.
