Viewers of progressive news cable channel MSNBC melted on social media Tuesday after anchor Chuck Todd said President Joe Biden "doesn't have a loyal fanbase."
Social media erupted with anger and frustration when Todd commented on his show "Meet the Press Daily" ahead of Biden's first State of the Union speech in Congress.

"Chuck Todd today decided to act like a s**hole by saying that President Biden has no fan base. If you have his back, I've got his back extended to your hand," said one popular Read the tweet.
"How long have you had 'fans' of politicians? They're cultists, Chuck Todd, you idiot," read another very popular tweet.
"Hey, Chuck, are you assuming that Biden doesn't have a loyal fan base because we haven't attacked the Capitol, haven't ransacked the building, and haven't attacked police officers? Let me explain you something. We are good people," said another opponent.
The definition of Chuck Todd's loyal fan base is a bunch of sweaty ducklings carrying a Trump or Union flag shouting obscenely at a camera because they are angry that black and brown people are allowed to exist, read another tweet.
Todd is often the target of moderate anger for his comments on MSNBC, and many called for him to be fired and replaced by more liberal hosts.
In an example from November, Todd said that passing a massive social spending bill was going to be detrimental to Democrats in 2022. In another example from July 2020, many on the left in Todd threw abusive tweets to offer modest praise for then-President Donald Trump.
