A few days back, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji and Dharma Productions CEO Apoorva Mehta were all spotted in the city. The group was seen arriving at the Bandra residence of filmmaker Vashu Bhagnani. However, a latest report by ETimes reveals that the group visited Namit Malhotra's house. Well, it was not for a party but reportedly to discuss the VFX status of Brahmastra.
As per reports, Namit Malhotra's prime focus is working on the high-end VFX of Barhamastra and the meeting was to discuss the creative aspect of the process. A source told ETimes, “The buzz was largely constructive. ‘Brahmastra’ is a film that is very close to the hearts of Alia, Ranbir, Karan and Ayaan. They want it to be their respective. Be one of the best in the filmography."
Brahmastra is scheduled to release in September this year. After several delays, the first teaser of Brahmastra was shared a few months back.
Earlier, in an exclusive conversation with Pinkvilla, Dharma CEO Apoorva Mehta spoke about VFX in Brahmastra. He had said, "The whole journey of understanding how to make this high budget VFX film, how to mount it, how to plan the VFX, how to execute it - it's been a very long journey, a very long one. It's a tough journey but extremely rewarding when you watch the cuts of the film. The conversation is all about excitement and anticipation. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles.
