3 prospects who can boost NBA Draft stock during March Madness

Every year, there are several NBA Draft prospects who significantly boost their draft stocks during March Madness. Playing your best ball in front of a massive national audience works wonders for your resume.

This year should be no different. Outside of the consensus top three (Paolo Banchero, Chet Holmgren, and Jabari Smith Jr.), there are plenty of players who can break into the lottery, or even more. Here, we'll highlight three NBA Draft prospects that could boost their stock with a strong showing in March Madness.

3 Possibilities That Could Boost NBA Draft Stock During March Madness - Jeremy Sochan

While Baylor is trying to defend his national championship and make two in a row, Jeremy Sochan will look to move up the draft board. In most of the recently published mock drafts, you'll find Sochan somewhere in the back half of the first round. The latest mock from CBS Sports selected him as the 28th pick.

Sochan has the ability to increase his stock by playing more. He was primarily a reserve for Baylor this season, making just one start in his 24 games. He has been scoring more runs of late, averaging 26.6 minutes per game since January 1.

His talent is undeniable, and if the Bears want to succeed at the big dance, coach Scott Drew may turn to more freshmen than during the regular season.

Closer to a bigger man than a guard, the swingman is a prolific rebounder, a versatile defender and an astute scorer. If he can consistently deliver aggressive performances while keeping his other qualities sharp, he should skyrocket the draft board.
