In an agreement for the remainder of the campaign, a new challenge was presented to Charara Robert Dante Siboldi, confirmed by Saudi Arabia as Al-Ahli's new technical director.
"Uruguayan's Robert Siboldi will coach Al-Ahli FC, the club's first football team, until the end of this season. #WelcomeRobertSiboldi @LosSiboldis,” said the Arab team on social media.
For his part, Siboldi said he was grateful for a vote of confidence from a club that is currently ranked eleventh in Saudi Arabia's championship, a position far from having access to international competitions.
“Grateful to Al Ahly FC for the opportunity and confidence. With so much commitment and enthusiasm to look forward to with this great team,” he said on his Twitter account.
Siboldi has developed his career as a coach in the MX League, being in charge of clubs such as Santos, Veracruz, Cruz Azul and Tijuana, which have won a league with Laguneros and a League Cup with La Maquina.
