Ronaldo's employer, Manchester United, has responded to the Ukraine invasion by canceling its sponsorship deal with Russian airline Aeroflot.
The Red Devils have partnered with the airline since 2013 and regularly fly European matches on the company's planes.
However, Vladimir Putin's decision to invade Ukraine prompted United to sever ties with the company.
A spokesman for the club said: 'In light of the events in Ukraine, we have withdrawn the sponsorship rights to Aeroflot. We share the concerns of our fans around the world and extend our sympathies to those affected.
