It is now officially confirmed that Kemba Walker will not be playing another game for the Knicks this season. The 31-year-old point guard was playing a limited role in New York and was disappointed.
In the end, an agreement was reached where he would leave for the remainder of the season. According to Knicks president Leon Rose, Walker will focus on getting ready for next season.
“We fully support Kemba's decision to call it off for the rest of the season and use this time to prepare for next season. His long-term success on the court remains our priority,” was Rose's official statement as released by the Knicks.
