The Internet is a vicious place, especially for celebrities. Will Smith's son Jaden Smith has become the victim of a rumor on social media which claims that he is dead, but it is not true.

Following unfounded rumors on the internet claiming that he died on the road following an accident, many worried TikTok and Twitter users took to the platforms to investigate the young star.

We are here to tell you not to fall for these claims!

Jaden Smith is not dead

The rumors stem from a random TikTok claim that Jaden Smith had passed away.

Some were led to believe that the Karate Kid star was involved in a car accident and many even started paying tribute to him.

Other TikTok users dug deeper and quickly discovered that it was yet another celebrity death hoax.

He has warned fellow users on the platform to stay away from these false rumors after proving that it is not true.

The singer is alive and well

Jaden's latest tweet amid rumors about his death left some fans even more confused as they couldn't figure out what it meant.

On February 24, 2022 he tweeted: "Invisible".

Jaden did not provide any further explanation about his post, which left some fans worried.

But, Jaden's tweet is proof that unlike what has been happening on TikTok in the past few hours, he is very much alive.

Fans shut down baseless rumors

Jaden's fans took to Twitter to quell the rumor about his death as the rumors were taking hold.

One tweeted: "So, Jaden Smith is alive. Wonder why a group of TikTokers declared him dead in a car accident. Nasreko Bill should address those careless people."

"I checked Will Smith's page several times, Jada's page and Willow's page. I think it's just a popularity stand! Jaden Smith is alive and trust me!" Another wrote.

One outraged fan said: "To those who tell that false story that Jaden Smith died in a car accident, you're all next level sick. Imagine how much pain his family must have suffered until that." They didn't confirm it was a hoax. 1 minute, 5 minutes, 1 hour. You all have to do your own investigation."
