Brook rejoins Adelaide ALM on loan

Adelaide United have signed young Lachlan Brooke on loan from English Premier League club Brentford for the remainder of the 2021–22 A-League main season.

Brook's arrival follows winger Ben Halloran's exit from South Korean top-flight club FC Seoul earlier this week.

Adelaide coach Carl Wert said Brooke would go some way to boost the Reds' attack in Halloran's absence.

"Having trained day in and day out with a team that plays in the strongest football league in the world, I'm sure Lachlan has improved a lot," said Vert.

"We're very curious to see how much he has evolved throughout this season."

Adelaide captain Stefan Mauk is also set to make the move in January, confirming he is in talks with an undisclosed Japanese club, but the midfielder is expected to face A-League Men's champions Melbourne City on Saturday. have hope.
