Amy Schumer said she "finally" feels "well" after a long battle with endometriosis and a little liposuction.
The stand-up comedian showed off the results of his procedure with a photo of him wearing a bathing suit at the beach, writing on Instagram Tuesday, "I feel great. Finally. This one to help me regain my strength." The journey has been @seckinmd (endo) @jordanternermd (lipo).
Schumer joked that she "never thought" she'd go in for plastic surgery, but decided not to "contract for 2.5 years and you're 40" after her uterus. (Her birthday was in June.)
He also credits his acupuncturist and The Tox Spa for completing his health and wellness journey.
On her Instagram Story, Schumer reposted the beach pic and revealed she's down to 170 pounds.
Fans applauded her candor, writing in a comment section, "Thank you for being so honest about your body."
Another added, "You look great, but more importantly, you look happy."
The "I Feel Pretty" star, who shares 2-year-old son Jean with husband Chris Fischer, announced in September that she had surgery to remove her uterus and appendix to treat her endometriosis.
"All my lifelong pain explained and flowed out of my body," she said in an audio recording posted on her Instagram. "I am already a changed person."
Schumer revealed in December that she tried applying fillers to her face but ultimately decided against them and dissolved them.
"I tried to get fillers," she captioned a candid selfie from the dermatologist's office. "Turns out I was already full."
When a fan asked Schumer why she tried fillers, the star replied that it was "something about this year" that inspired the process.
She wrote, "All my surgeries turn 40, I want to feel my best about myself." "I got lipo and I had a great experience doing it. I used to be really [judgmental] about getting people to work. Now I'm like, do everything to love yourself as you are But once you're 40 and have a C section, the F-K will make you feel your best!
