SERIE A LINE-UPS: ROMA VS. SALERNITANA

Roma must do without the suspended Lorenzo Pellegrini, but Tammy Abraham recovers to face Frank Ribery and Salernitana.

The Giallorossi need a win to overcome the frustration and contention from Thursday's 2-1 Europa League quarter-final loss to Bodo/Glimt and keep the pressure on Juventus for fourth place.

Pellegrini sits out a ban, with Niccol Zaniolo and Jordan Vertout only returning to the squad for a spot on the bench.

Abraham suffers a knock in Norway, but starts anyway, while the squad rotation on the wings.

Leonardo Spinazola is in the team for the first time this season, having torn his Achilles tendon during Euro 2020 in July 2021.

Salernitana have had former Roma defender Federico Fazio and forward Emiliano Bonazzoli suspended, while Diego Perotti - another ex - Mamadou Coulibelli and Lis Mouset are injured.
