Look: Shane Lowry Hits Incredible Shot At The Masters

The 2022 Masters has already offered us all the victories and tribulations we could have asked for in a bigger tournament. But Shane Lowry soon claimed the best shot of the tournament.

On the 10th hole, Lowry was 38 yards away from the hole and the sand trap on the other side. But with a quick chip, which took a big piece of grass with him, Lowry found the beat - and then his ball rolled into the hole for a birdie.

Lowry had her first round ups at the Masters yesterday. He recorded two bogeys, but no birdie on the first 12 holes, before recording an eagle on the 13th, followed by a birdie on the 14th. But a double bogey on the 15th sent him back into round two for the equal of another over.

However today has been a much better day. He bogeyed the first hole and then hit two birdies on the front nine to bring them into level. He reached the top 15 thanks to this spectacular birdie in 10th place.

Shane Lowry has historically struggled at Augusta, not so much to reach the top 20. His best performance was last year, when he finished 21st at the Masters.

The 35-year-old golfer from Ireland won The Open Championship in 2019, securing the first major of his career. He won the PGA Championship and the U.S. Also claims several Top 10 finishes in the Open.

However, the Masters did not bring him success and after the first round it appeared that it could knock him out again.

But if he continues the strong game he is showing today, he will not only make the cut, but will stand firmly in contention over the weekend.
