Fans are moving as fast as lightning to call out "The Flash" star Grant Gustin to replace Ezra Miller in the upcoming WB film adaptation of the DC superhero.
Miller, 29, who identifies as non-binary and uses the pronoun they/their, has come under fire from Warner Bros. studio chiefs after being arrested for disorderly conduct and harassment in Hawaii on March 28 .
Gustin, 32, has portrayed Barry Allen/The Flash on the CW series of the same name since 2014, and the show was recently renewed for a ninth season. Miller's "The Flash" film was due to be released sometime in 2023.
The "Perks of Being a Wallflower" actor's future with the film hangs in the balance, as Warner and DC officials held an emergency meeting on March 30 to discuss the arrest.
The assembly's conclusion was to stop all future projects involving Miller and any public appearances scheduled for the action flick.
Last year, Miller suffered a "persistent slump" during production on the film's set, according to a Rolling Stone report published Wednesday.
Fans took to social media to ask Gustin to be the next big screen Barry Allen. Someone shared a meme of the "Glee" alum, with a picture of Miller flashing a peace sign next to a headstone.

Probably a good time to mention this, Grant Gustin would’ve been a much better DCEU Flash. pic.twitter.com/B7lvVHuHHn

"Maybe a good time to mention this, Grant Gustin would have been a better DCEU [DC Extended Universe] Flash," suggested one Gustin supporter, while another wrote, "Ezra Miller shouldn't play Flash again or not work at all unless they get the help they clearly need."
"Warner Bros. needs to find a new flash and fast because I'm really concerned for Ezra Miller's state of mind," wrote one fan.
Someone jokingly compared the CW show to a big-budget WB movie, saying, "God give Gustin to [role] that man so good he deserves better than a $5 budget show."
"Enough is enough! They should remake Ezra Miller with 'Grant Gustin' #GrantIsTheFlash#DC," said one fan, while another called Gustin an "obvious" replacement.
"Grant Gustin is a clear choice to replace Ezra Miller," the user tweeted. "It's been 8 seasons of the Flash TV show. Finish it. The stories are tired. Give him a chance in the movie."
