The Easter Bunny introduced Chloe Fineman's Britney Spears to give a special holiday message to her fans, which included her hilarious thoughts on her pregnancy.
Chloe Fineman was back to make a Britney Spears impression on the April 16 episode of Saturday Night Live and she nailed it once again. For the show's cold opening, Bowen Yang posed as the Easter Bunny to introduce his famous friends who want to "share their hopes for this Easter season". The pregnant pop princess, played to perfection by Chloe, had a special message for fans, including a hilarious "hope" for her baby.

"I bet you didn't know I could do this," Britney first asked the audience before turning around and performing choreographed hand motions, in addition to her Instagram video dancing. She then went on to refer her court-appointed guardianship which expired back in November. "Remember six months ago when everyone was like 'We need to get him out of this stereotype, and now you're gonna check someone's authority on him still?' Well, don't worry, I'm finally free and I'm having a baby! I just pray that my baby is born happy, healthy and with a power of attorney."
Dr. Fauci, New York Mayor Eric Adams and Elon Musk also attended to give their thoughts on the season of renewal and regeneration. Elon said he was trying to buy the Easter holiday, a reference to his recent attempt to buy Twitter. He made a rift about offering exorbitant amounts of Marshmallow Candy Peeps in exchange for Easter rights. Then he laughed frantically at his own joke.
Cold Open was the first sketch of the episode being hosted by Lizzo. Lizzo was not only hosting the show, but she was also the musical guest, marking her second time since her 2019 stint when Eddie Murphy returned to host. She joins a very VIP group of musicians who have pulled double duty as both host and musical guest, including Taylor Swift, Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez, who performed it twice, and Justin Timberlake, Who took the challenge thrice.
