Woman Up S3 EXCLUSIVE: Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi support her on being body-shamed for postpartum weight

International Women's Day, which is observed on 8 March, recognizes the achievements of women in all fields. Well, Pinkvilla brings a new season of Woman Up every year. And this year, we invited Neha Dhupia, who shared her thoughts on many things. The actress, who became a mother for the second time last year, had said that she has been a part of trolls for not losing weight after delivery. She was also seen playing the role of a pregnant lady cop in the recently released film A Thursday.

In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, Neha talks at length about her postpartum weight gain. She also mentioned that it feels bad. "Well, once in a while, you have a baby, you don't have time to check the internet. So that's okay, but once you do it's no good. You know people As a mother it is not realized and as a child you go through the most important phase of your life which is the post trimester.It is the hardest and it is quite hard what we do as mothers It's hard you don't even half wake up like this ,” she adds.

The actress also raised questions on the trollers and said that this journey is not easy for any woman. "And you know this person A- who are you writing this? Are you the kind of person who's never been through it, whoever is sitting down and writing this? Are you a woman like that? who has never had a baby and is writing this Meaning, you really know what your superpower is just click on six words and like the title from it or throw one. What's my superpower? I can give life. Can you match it? Huh?" Neha said.

She even praised her husband Angad Bedi for always standing by her side and encouraging her.

Neha continued, "Salute to him. He is always by my side and I keep telling him about our first day at the gym. He and I don't go together anymore because of the kids. But on that first day, he was like that. Tha- just listen I'm going with you, literally like the first workout after a whole year holding my hands, you've got stitches, you have weight, you feel weird, you're nursing your baby, you all the time We feel very heavy. So we are a mix of everything."

On the work front, Neha was also seen in Sunak in which she played the role of a female cop. The film stars Vidyut Jammwal, Rukmini Maitra and Chandan Roy Sanyal in lead roles.
