Warriors guard Stephen Curry achieved another milestone in his career in Thursday night's game versus Denver when his career crossed the 20,000 mark. In true curry fashion, he did so by hitting a trademark triple beside the Halfcourt logo.
Curry needed just 28 points to reach the milestone to enter the game and finished with a game-high 34 points, including three 3-pointers, shooting 11-21 on aggregate from the field. Of. He scored 18 points during his 30-12 run, which erased a 14-point deficit, giving the Warriors their first consecutive win since February 7.

In the process, Curry became just the 49th player in NBA history to reach the 20,000-point plateau. The last player to do so was Lamarcus Aldridge in October 2021.
Curry spoke about the importance of the milestone postgame.
"Any accomplishment that you do individually or as a team is special," he said. "You work every day to get better. The longer you stay at this level, the better things will keep happening.
"I've had the privilege of playing this game and doing it with some amazing people, hopefully more to come. It's definitely very special."
Curry is the eighth active player to reach the point after LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Durant, James Harden, Russell Westbrook, Chris Paul and Aldridge.
With 28 points tonight, Stephen Curry has become the 49th player in NBA history to reach the 20,000-point mark for his career.
