UP election 2022: The results of the state elections will be out on March 10.
Uttar Pradesh will "farewell to the BJP", a confident OP Rajbhar, a former ally of the ruling party, said on Friday - days ahead of the state election results. Rajbhar is contesting the UP assembly elections this time with Akhilesh Yadav's Samajwadi Party.
"... Congress is not even part of the fight. (Mayawati's) BSP is being ignored and BJP... will bid farewell to the UP party. Last month, Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) chief Om Prakash Rajbhar had urged the Election Commission to provide security to him and his son, alleging threats to his life. The SBSP chief had claimed that he was attacked by BJP supporters in "black coat".
"Yesterday there was an attempt to kill me. Some people started shouting loudly, threatening to shoot me. Such hooliganism took place in front of the Chamber of the District Magistrate and the Commissioner of Police."

OBC leader Om Prakash Rajbhar is contesting from Zahoorabad constituency in Ghazipur district where he had won last time. Against him, BJP has fielded former BSP MLA Kalicharan Rajbhar.
OP Rajbhar was sacked as a minister from the Yogi Adityanath government in 2019 after it was alleged that he had threatened some BJP leaders.
The last phase of UP elections will be held on March 7; The results will come on March 10.
