AMC shares are trading 15.5% higher at $23.38 after AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc.
According to a Reuters report, Aaron said: "I anticipate there will be more third-party external M&A announcements ahead, where AMC can reach the stars and make interesting investments with potentially attractive returns".
"Transformational M&A is imperative. Our shareholder base has given us the capital to deploy with the clear expectation that we ... are going to do exciting things with the money they entrusted to us," Aaron told Reuters. "
AMC shares may also see a slight decline in the past one week as the shares have gained 47.2% in the last five sessions. As per data from Benzinga Pro, AMC's total share float is 515.00 million, of which 101.33 million shares were short sold, representing 19.68% of the short sold shares.
AMC is involved in theatrical exhibition business. It owns, operates or has interests in theaters located in the United States and Europe.
AMC has a 52-week high of $72.62 and a 52-week low of $8.31.
