Sea.Hear.Now has announced its 2022 lineup with Stevie Nicks and Green Day as headliners.
My Morning Jacket, Cage the Elephant, Billy Strings, Gary Clark Jr., The Head and the Heart, IDLES, Courtney Barnett and more will perform at the festival on September 17th and 18th. This year's event will be hosted in Asbury Park, NJ as stage three of the event
This year promises to see "more action" with the start of "The North Beach Rumble" surf competition between the surf and sand stages. The two teams will face off during the event with coaches Corey Lopez and Sam Hammer. Cassidy McClain, Eric Geselman, Rob Kelly, Cam Richards, Will Schudin, and more will take to the waves during the festival.
Allie & AJ, Peach Pitt, Shakey Graves, Simafunk, The Vansaders and more will join this year's lineup.
The Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, The Avett Brothers, Billy Idol, Lord Huron, Patti Smith, Grouplove, Moon Taxi and others all took the stage at the 2021 edition of the event. The event had a comeback after the cancellation of its 2020 show last year due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The first year of Sea.Hear.Now took place in 2018, with Blondie, Bruce Springsteen, Social Distortion, Inclubus and others all performing at the event. Festival founder Danny Clinch sat down with Pollstar during the festival's inaugural year, with Clinch sharing that it took six years to get the event off the ground.
Clinch's Transparent Gallery is also returning this year, with artworks from musicians interacting with contributing artists. on installation.
The two-day ticket sales for this year's event will begin at 10am on March 9. Children under the age of eight will be allowed in for free if they are accompanied by a paying adult.
