Rams agree to terms with offensive lineman Joe Noteboom on a three-year contract

The Rams have agreed to a three-year contract with offensive lineman Joe Notebook, the team announced Monday.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed, but NFL.com reported it is worth $47.5 million, with $25 million guaranteed.

Re-signing the 26-year-old Notebook is a strong sign that veteran leftist Andrew Whitworth will probably be retiring. Whitworth, 40, won the Walter Peyton NFL Man of the Year award and helped the Rams cap their 16th NFL season with a Super Bowl LVI win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

The 6-foot-5, 321-pound notebook was selected by Ram in the third round of the 2018 draft.

Notebook has tackled, started on guard and also played as an extra tight end in heavy formation.

In 2020, after Whitworth suffered a knee injury, The Notebook started in his place. He also started in place of Whitworth - and played very well - in last season's NFC divisional-round playoff win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Center Brian Allen and guard Austin Corbett are pending free agents at the other Rams.
