While the Golden State Warriors had the day off, the Santa Cruz Warriors took court on Sunday against G League Ignite in a lineup with James Wiseman at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
After missing out on all his sophomore season so far due to the end of his rookie season and a meniscus injury, Wiseman made his long-awaited return to court on Thursday with the Santa Cruz Warriors against the Stockton Kings.
On Sunday, Wiseman made his second appearance in the G League against the Ignite team.
The former No. 2 overall pick recorded another solid performance against Ignite with a double-double effort in 20 minutes. Wiseman scored 19 points on a career-high 14 boards shooting 8-of-17 from the field. The 20-year-old added two blocks. Away from the post, Wiseman reached out to shoot down a 3-pointer on two attempts from beyond the arc.
Behind Wiseman, Quindry Weatherspoon and Jerome Robinson, Santa Cruz won a 110–107 victory over Ignite.
