What was he looking to get out of the half-court shot?
"Maybe get three free throws," Poole said. “Obviously I was shooting to make it but they also sent a trap. There was a boy in the middle and a boy on the half court line. There really wasn't much to do."
Although he couldn't beat the Sons on Wednesday night, Poole has been an important part of the Warriors' lineup without Steph Curry, who sprained his left leg after losing to the Celtics earlier this month.
