Afghanistan restricted Tigers to 115 for nine in the second T20I at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka on Saturday (March 05).
Earlier, the hosts had defeated the visitors by 61 runs in the first T20 International at the same venue.
In the second T20, Bangladesh captain Mahmudullah Riyadh won the toss and elected to bat. Tigers managed to score 115 runs in 20 overs.
Mushfiqur Rahim scored 30 runs in 25 balls with four fours while Mahmudullah Riyadh scored 21 runs in 14 balls with the help of three fours.
Wicketkeeper Liton Das and opener Mohammad Naeem scored 13 runs each while all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan scored nine runs.
Afif Hossain scored seven runs and spinner Nasum Ahmed scored five runs. Fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman scored six runs while opener Munim Shahriar scored four runs.
Fazlhaq Farooqui and Ajmatullah Omerzai took three wickets each for Afghanistan. Captain Mohammad Nabi and the right-arm legbreak spinner got one each.
