It was just six months ago that Elina Switolina was convinced that she was described as "the best day of my life".
On July 16, in Geneva Switzerland, Ukrainian Tennis Star, who once stayed in the world as number 3, was married to France's fellow tennis star Gayle Monphils. The game power pairs Then Tokyo took his festival, where each represented his countries in the Summer Olympics, and Switolina brought a bronze medal home.
These days, however, Switolina is not celebrating. He is afraid of heartbeat and his citizens because he tries to protect Ukraine after the invasion of Russia on 24th February. And therefore, the origin of 27-year-old Odessa wrote a love letter to "My Motherland" to share his thoughts and emotions.
The letter of Switolina began, "I am far away from my loved ones, I am away from my loved ones, but my heart has never felt so hot and filled with my soul."

"My people, every day I'm afraid for you. I am devastated, my eyes will not stop crying, my heart will not bleed.

As he concluded his emotional letter, Switolina reached the 15th place on the WTA tour, to support the re-distribution of its next tournament to support the Ukrainian army and human needs.
