Paul McCartney will be back on the road this year announcing his 13-show Got Back Tour, which will launch this spring.
The run will begin on April 28 at the Spokane Arena in Spokane, Washington (their first show in the city), and wrap up on June 16 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey (for the first time since 2016). McCartney would also play for the first time in Hollywood, Florida, Knoxville, Tennessee, and Winston-Salem, North Carolina, while he would return for his first shows with Wings from 1976 and 1964 in Fort Worth, Texas, and Baltimore. The Beatles, respectively.
Tickets for the Got Back Tour will go on sale on February 25 at 10 a.m. local time. The presale for American Express cardholders will run from 10 a.m. local time on February 22 to 10 p.m. on February 24. local time. Full details are available on McCartney's website.
The Got Back Tour marks McCartney's first full tour since its Fresh Up run, which wrapped in July 2019. While not on the road - understandably, due to the pandemic - McCartney has been busy with several other projects, such as the release of his latest solo album, McCartney III, in December 2020. Last year, he starred alongside Rick Rubin in the Hulu documentary McCartney 3, 2, 1, and he was also involved as a producer on Peter Jackson's Beatles doc, Get Back.
