In its second year, Head-to-Head returns as a fantasy game centered around players' scores.
Each week, starting December 7th, for the remainder of the 2021–22 NBA season, five new matchups will be presented. In each matchup, all you have to do is choose which player you think will earn more points in their game. For each correct pick, you earn points. The more points you earn, the more rewards you can get.
However, this season has a new twist: Head-to-head will now be tracking Streaks.
Fans with the longest streak (most consecutive wins) in a specified six-week period can win $5,000. There will be three separate six-week streak periods, which means there's a total of $15,000 up for grabs during the season!
Winners can also video chat with NBA All-Stars, Courtside Tickets, and more. There are weekly and season-long awards, with over 190 prizes expected to be awarded this season.

Here's what you need to know about each matchup...
Trai Young vs Demar DeRozan
Matchup: Hawks vs Bulls
Date/Time: Thursday, February 24 at 8 pm. at

DeRozan's 28.1 points per game lead Young's 27.8, and before the All-Star break, DeRozan was on one of the hottest streaks in NBA history. The Bulls star has scored 35 or more points shooting at least 50 percent off the field in seven consecutive games, giving him the longest streak in NBA history. Even though Young has averaged 29.0 in his last five matches, it's hard to bet against DeRozan here.
Ja Morant vs Karl-Anthony Townes
Matchup: Grizzlies vs Timberwolves

Morant's 26.8 points per game gives him an advantage over Towns' 24.4. Morant went into the All-Star break with a bang as the Grizzlies dropped 44 points in the final game. Towns has been heating up lately, going for 39 points just before the All-Star break. In three matches this season, Towns has outplayed Morant twice in their one-on-one matchups.
Fred VanVallet vs LaMelo Ball
Matchup: Raptors vs Hornets

VanVleet's 21.6 points per game takes the lead over the ball's 20.0. VanVleet has scored 20 points in seven consecutive games, averaging 22.0 points over that period. The ball has recently increased his scoring pace, however, averaging 25.0 points in his last five matches. In their only meeting where both guards played, VanVleet's 20 points exceeded the ball's 15.

Matchup: Rocket vs. Magic

Anthony's 17.7 points per game exceeds Wood's 17.5; However, Anthony's scoring output has been a bit inconsistent in recent times. The Magic Guard have averaged 18.0 points in their last five matches, but this includes one outing with less than 10 points. Wood, on the other hand, has averaged only 16.6 points in his last five matches, but hasn't been placed under double digits since 1 December (excluding a mid-game injury on January 1). Anthony's 26 points beat Wood's 20 in his only meeting this season.
CJ McCallum vs Devin Booker
Matchup: Pelicans vs Sunso

This heavyweight scoring matchup should be good. Booker's season-long 25.5 points per game lead McCollum's 21.5, but there are a few other variables in the mix here as well. Since being traded to the Pelicans, McCullum has averaged 28.4 points per game. Booker was starting to warm up before the All-Star break and will now run the show on his own, as Chris Paul has been sidelined indefinitely with a fracture in his thumb. You can't go wrong with McCollum in Pelicans uniform or a CP3-less Booker, making it a toss-up.
