Kanye West Calls Jack Harlow a Top 5 Rapper Right Now: ‘This N***a Can Raaaaaaap Bro’

The artist, formerly known as Kanye West, considers Jack Harlow one of the "Top 5" of the present moment.

In an Instagram post on Friday, Yeh shared a screenshot from Harlow's recently released "Nail Take" video, sharing some brief thoughts in the caption.

"It's n***a can raaaaaap bro and I'm calling n***a top 5 out right now as a compliment," Yeh wrote, as seen below.

Last evening, Ye's IG served as the launchpad for the news that Donda 2 would be available "only" on the Stem Player platform. "Today artists get just 12 percent of the industry's money. It's time to free music from this oppressive system," Ye wrote in a post shared Thursday night. "It's time to take control and create your own "

Shortly after Stem Player was announced, Yeh shared a possible tracklist for the new album, which—at least at the time the photo was taken—was 22 tracks in length.

IGs have also been a source of constant controversy in recent weeks. Amid criticism this week of comments directed by Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson, Ye told fans he was working on his communication. "I know sharing the screenshot was shocking and came across as harassing Kim," Ye said in a since-deleted IG post. "I take accountability. I'm still learning in real time. I don't have all the answers. [A] To be a good leader is to be a good listener."

Below, watch Harlow's "Nail Take" video again, co-directed by Harlow and Frank Borin, featuring City Girls member Yung Miami in appearance.

Responding to Ye's words of support on Friday, Harlow called it "one of the greatest moments" of her life.
