Daniel Kaluuya, Keke Palmer, Steven Yeun, and aliens (or something) star in the summer’s anticipated horror pic.
Jordan Peele's first look at Nope, his third feature film since Get Out and Us, came Sunday ahead of the 56th Super Bowl. In addition to Daniel Kaluuya, Keke Palmer and Steven Yeun, who were already announced to be involved in the project, moviegoers were delighted to see Sally Gardner, also known as "The Horse in Motion", of, as photographed by Edward Muybridge using a zoopraxiscope. 1878. Many scholars call it the first motion picture ever made.
And Palmer's character claims to be a direct descendant of the man who rides Sally, using it as a selling point for the Hollywood horse farm she runs with Kalua's character. (“Since pictures can go on, we have skin at play!” she says with a smile.) Then we cut to images of life on a farm interrupted by dark clouds, bright lights, and frightened animals.
