Jason Ritter tells dirty internet trolls who are making fun of his wife Melanie Lynskey's weight that they can "goose dive" in the sun.
“If anyone *has* any further unwanted comments about someone else’s body, they can feel free to write them in permanent ink on their forehead and let the goose dive straight into the sun,” Ritter – whose Linsky has been married since 2020 - tweeted The Weeknd.
His tweet comes a day after the "Yellowjacket" star responded to a user body shaming him online.
Lynskey, 44, tweeted, "The most arrogant are 'I care about his health!!' People." "B**** you don't see me on my peloton! You don't see me running in the park with my kid. Skinny isn't always healthy."
The actress previously revealed that she was embarrassed by a member of the production on the new Showtime series.
"They were asking me, 'What are you planning to do? I'm sure the producers will give you a trainer. They'd love to help you with that,'" Lynskey, who played Shauna, told Rolling Stone.
Lynskey said that her co-stars Tony Cypress, Christina Ricci and Juliette Lewis stood by her, with Lewis even writing a letter to the show's producers on her behalf.
"It was really important for me [Shauna] to never comment on my body, not make me wear a dress and be like, 'I wish I looked a little better,'" she explained.
"I found it important that this character is just casual and sexual and not thinking or talking about it, because I want women to see it and be like, 'Wow, she looks like me and no one can say that. It's because she's fat. That representation is important."
Lynskey and Ritter, 41, have been together since 2013 and have a 3-year-old daughter together. She was previously married to Jimmy Simpson.
