With the release of Destiny 2: The Witch Queen comes to the Throne World of Sawathoon, a new destination with a mix of intricate architecture and rough bayou. As with any new destination in Destiny 2, a new public event activity has been featured to challenge the Guardians in the open world. Ferry the Resonant Splinter public event is unlike any other as you'll find yourself constantly on the move, all the while fighting off fierce enemies.
How to complete the event
Fans of popular FPS titles like Overwatch and Team Fortress 2 should feel at home with this public event. You will need to fight and fight Dark Splinter to reach its destination. It may sound simple, but scornful enemies will be causing you splatter non-stop in an effort to keep them from escorting you. Make sure not to leave the splinters out of range for too long as this will waste the limited time you have to escort it.
When you're escorting Splinter, it will stop twice and deploy a large orange bubble near it. Within this bubble are three pyramidal spikes that you will need to destroy quickly in order to continue to splinter. These bubbles also have a very powerful scorn, so be prepared to use your super and power ammo to clear everything.
How to make the event heroic
When the splinter stops and deploys its bubble, it will also drop two resonant charges. While you may initially think you need to put these in something, they are actually meant to be thrown into the yellow area in the middle of the splinter. You'll want to throw a total of four resonant charges into the sphere to make the event heroic. Upon making it heroic, you'll encounter two additional bosses at the end of the Splinters route. Once you kill them and finalize Splinter's escort, you'll complete the event.
